An interiors project for a 743 square feet office space for an independent design, development and project management-consulting firm. Three work areas, a conference room, file area and kitchen are arranged to maximize the flow of natural light while allowing views of the lush tropical exterior garden areas. Special emphasis is given to the display of the client’s private art collection which includes the use of the glass bead abacus panels as partitions in the space. The original abacus is divided into three separate pieces and used between the workstations to define privacy while allowing natural light to filter through the main work area.
